鍾敬逸現就讀香港教育大學創意藝術與文化（榮譽）文學士及音樂教育（榮譽）學士（同期結業雙學位課程）四年級，於2021年獲頒授「柏斯育才獎學金」。鍾氏師隨蔡國田老師主修色士風，亦隨黃慧晶老師、梁麗施老師及楊紫婷老師學習手鈴及手鈴指揮。 

 

鍾氏持續透過演奏、指揮及作曲等角度研習合奏音樂，並以優異成績考獲聖三一音樂學院AMusTCL樂理文憑。鍾氏活躍於教大多個音樂團體，並連續兩年獲得教大文化與創意藝術學系CASH作曲獎。

 

鍾氏現為教大合唱團副主席及教大手鈴隊主席暨學生指揮，亦是校內外多個音樂團體的成員。鍾氏積極參與演出及營運事務，三年間協助舉辦多場公開演出。

Chung King Yat is currently studying in the fourth year of the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Creative Arts and Culture and Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Music) (Five-year Full-time) (co-terminal double degree) at the Education University of Hong Kong. He was awarded the “Parsons Music Scholarship" in 2021. Chung studied the saxophone under the guidance of Mr. Martin Choy Kwok Tin, and also learned handbells and handbell conducting from Ms. Wong Wai Ching, Ms. Leung Lai Sze, and Ms. Yeung Tsz Ting.

 

Chung continued to study ensemble music through performance, conducting, and composition, and achieved distinction in the AMusTCL from Trinity College London in recent years. Chung joined many ensembles in EdUHK, and was awarded the CASH Composition Award of the EdUHK department of Cultural and Creative Arts in two consecutive years. 

 

Chung is currently the Vice-President of the EdUHK Chorus, as well as a student conductor and chairman of the EdUHK handbell Ensemble. He is also a member of several music groups both within and outside the university. Chung actively participates in performances and operational matters, and has assisted in organizing multiple public performances over the past three years.
