Since primary school, Chu Man Huen has been a member of the Hong Kong Youth Handbell Ensemble, learning handbell under the guidance from Ms Emily Li for 10 years. She has shared music not only in local concerts but also worldwide, performing at events such as the National Seminar held by the Handbell Musicians of America and the International Handbell Symposium. During her university exchange program in Japan, she joined Andante, a Tokyo-based handbell choir, where she attended concerts, festivals and workshops organized by the team or the Handbell Ringers of Japan.

 

In 2020, she officially joined Double Mallet Ringers and continues to promote handbell music as a ringer.
