Tsoi Wing-yee was born in Hong Kong in 1989. She started learning piano at the age of 13. Later, she continued her music study in the Hong Kong Institute of Education and completed a BEd in Music education in 2013. During her student days, she was admitted to Masaryk University, Czech Republic as an exchange student.

 

Tsoi devotes herself in music education and promoting music. She works predominantly through the medium of school music education, but includes instrumental teaching and ensembles playing in her large scale of interests. She first played handbell in the HKIEd handbell ensemble under the teaching of Ms. WONG Wai Ching Zerlina . Being a member of HKIEd handbell ensemble, She takes active participation in handbell performances such as music galas and annual concerts. She joined Double Mallet Ringers (DMR) after graduated from HKIEd. Also as a symphonic band musician, Tsoi has been a French horn player of the Hong Kong Youth Symphonic Band since 2012. In 2013, she followed HKYSB to perform in Jiju, Korea.
